BRAC University signs agreement on academic cooperation with University of Lincoln

BRAC University signed an agreement on academic cooperation with the University of Lincoln recently, the first of its kind to be undertaken by a university from Bangladesh with this reputed educational institution. Professor Vincent Chang, Vice-Chancellor, BRAC University, signed the agreement with Professor Neal Juster, Vice Chancellor, University of Lincoln. It took place while Professor Chang was visiting University of Lincoln on an invitation. The visit was a part of the University of Lincoln Global Month 2022, where they are promoting international collaboration. The University of Lincoln treasures Professor Chang’s visit, while Professor Chang finds the visit as very significant for BRAC University.

During the visit, Professor Chang met with Bangladeshi faculty members and students of the University of Lincoln. He also met with the members of senior management team including Pro Vice-Chancellor at University of Lincoln. Talks centred on overall collaborations, the future of higher education, the response to the Covid-19 pandemic and reopening of campus. Professor Chang presented a lecture before business school students there.

The agreement enables BRAC University students to start their Bachelors of Business Administration degree at BRAC University and finish it at University of Lincoln, with Scholarship. It also centres on promotion of joint research and publication, student, administrative staff and faculty mobility between the two institutions; opportunities for joint initiatives to pursue each institution's mission and vision, joint PhD supervision and support for faculty of BRAC Business School and support for progression to postgraduate programs at the University of Lincoln.
